Lucky Dawgs

Cooking Time:




• 2 large good quality hot dog buns (we get the Wild Wheat ones from Farro Fresh)
• 2 large good quality Franks
• Sauerkraut 
• Heinz Tomato Sauce
• Lucky Taco Habanero Hot Sauce
• American style yellow mustard
• 1 large white onion (sliced into ribbons)


• Slice the buns, ready for Frank insertion.
• Mix a few splashes of Lucky Taco Habanero hot sauce into some tomato sauce. (Depending on how spicy you like it).
• Fry the onions in a combo of butter & oil in a frying pan. Don’t over brown them, You don’t want them to taste bitter. Once cooked remove from heat & set aside.
• Steam the buns in a bamboo steamer, over boiling hot water for 5 minutes.
• Place the Franks into a saucepan of boiling hot water for 5 mins.
• Drain the Franks. Place into steamed buns.
• Add fried onions.
• Add Sauerkraut.
• Add generous amount of spiced tomato sauce & American style mustard on top.
